Meet the iMBA Faculty with Vlad Dolgopolov

Join the Gies Online recruitment team and current faculty member Vlad Dolgopolov, adjunct professor of business administration, who teaches Core 2 courses in the iMBA program. We will explore the iMBA program while we have a conversation explaining what iMBA courses are all about, Professor Dolgopolov's approach to online teaching, what successful iMBA students look like, and what Professor Dolgopolov's other interests are. Vlad Dolgopolov is a lecturer in the Department of Finance, having joined the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2018. He currently teaches courses in management economics and business analysis in the iMBA program. Dolgopolov earned a BS in business economics and finance and psychology from the University of Indianapolis in 1998. He went on to earn an MA and a PhD in economics from Clark University in 2001 and 2005, respectively. He also received two other master’s degrees, a Master of Liberal Arts in management from Harvard University in 2010, and an MS in higher education administration from Southern New Hampshire University in 2018. Prior to joining the University of Illinois, Dolgopolov held executive positions in higher education as associate dean at National Louis University, vice president of academic affairs at Antonelli College, and vice president of institutional assessment and planning at Empire Education Corporation.
