Build Your Toolkit: Developing the Career You Want
We can’t wait to see you at iConverge 2023! We know you’ll enjoy this opportunity to visit your campus.
This page has everything you need to make the most of your iConverge experience. It is your main source for all things iConverge throughout the event!
This year’s theme is “Build Your Toolkit: Developing the Career You Want.” The sessions and workshops we have planned will empower you to develop the skills, environment, and career goals for your future success.
Check out iConverge Program.
Activities start at 3 pm on September 21 and will continue into the evening, all day Friday, and during the morning of Saturday.
Hear what Gies alumna, Alison Smith (MBA ‘21), had to say about her experiences at the three iConverge events she attended. Note: This interview was originally filmed during iConverge 2021. We have recently reconnected with Alison and learned that she accepted a new position as a strategy manager at Caterpillar, just six months after the interview.
Transportation and Parking
You will have no trouble parking at the State Farm Center. Free parking is available off First Street in the northwest and southwest lots of State Farm Center.
Parking around campus may be a bit trickier. Parking spaces around the Business Instructional Facility (BIF) are metered. You can pay by app. You may want to consider Uber/Lyft/cab rides.
A shuttle will be available on Friday, September 9, to take you from the State Farm Center to BIF. After the afternoon sessions, the shuttle will take you City Center for dinner and then back to the State Farm Center at 9:00 pm.
Please consult the itinerary for the shuttle schedule.
Enjoy a Fighting Illini football game!
At iConverge, you have an option to attend the Fighting Illini football game versus Florida Atlantic on Saturday, September 23. You can purchase your ticket here.

Alumni
Though intended for current students, our alumni are always welcome to attend iConverge, either for the full event or for part of it. It’s a great way to interact with our current students and give them insights from your experience, as well as opportunities for you to reconnect with fellow alumni and your favorite professors!
